*Alberta requires 24 Continuing Competence (CC) credits annually to maintain their practice permit. These credits must be completed and submitted by May 31 each year. As part of the CC program, chiropractors must complete the following:

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Maintain current certification in BLS, including CPR.
- Trauma-Informed Care Training: Complete training that focuses on understanding and responding to the effects of trauma (Provided by CCOA).
- Record-Keeping Course: Complete a CCOA-approved record-keeping course every three years.
- Please consult the College of Chiropractors of Alberta (CCOA) directly to ensure you meet all current continuing competence requirements. Visit www.theccoa.ca for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding CE obligations, approved courses, deadlines, and mandatory components.
