*Michigan requires 30 hours of CE every 2 years.
Compulsory topics:* 1 hour in Sexual Boundaries, 1 hour in Ethics, 1 hour in Pain and Symptom Management, 2 live (in-person) hours in Physical Measures, and 2 live (in-person) hours in Performance and Ordering of Tests. * No more than 12 hours of CE can be earned during one 24-hour period.
* “Beginning June 1, 2022, and all renewals thereafter, licensees seeking renewal must have completed a minimum of 1 hour of implicit bias training for each year of the applicant’s license cycle. For the first renewal on or after June 1, 2022, licensees will only need to have 1 hour for each year since the rule’s promulgation date of June 1, 2021.”
The Board does not accept duplication of courses within the two-year period; distinct courses must be taken for each requirement.
Michigan allows 15 hours to be completed online.
